Hi there!! I'm Miki Inoguchi
I was born and raised in Japan. Growing up, I was obsessed with Hollywood films and the various worlds I could explore through movies. In 2018, I moved to the U.S. by myself to learn more about Hollywood filmmaking. Through this process, I became mesmerized by what a cinematographer can do for the story.
As a result, cinematography quickly became my focus. As a cinematographer, I believe it is my responsibility to control the emotions and mood of the story through my carefully crafted imagery.
By making intentional decisions with each visual element, I wish to leave an emotional impact on my audience, as I did in my previous, award-winning short films Unforgettable (2019), A Man with Emotions (2020)Sunshine in the Rain (2021), and Hark, Champion! (2023).
